2 years and 3 days ago we signed on the dotted line and we became first time home owners together. We had quite an expensive first weekend here. The microwave didn’t work, we had no fuel to heat the house and the backyard grass was roughly 4 feet tall. We’ve come a long way in this short time together. Tomorrow the movers show up and in 3 short days (!!!) we’ll hand the keys off to the new owners with hope that they’ll love this place as much as we have.
Work until you no longer have to introduce yourself.
"You are going to be spending a lot of time working, so you better love what you do. And I’ve switched my career a couple of times, and I think that that was what gave me my North Star—you have to love what you do. Because you’re trying to inspire a lot of other people, you’re spending a lot of time doing it, and it’s got to be rewarding."
A worthwhile read, I think.
